To culminate their unit on communities, HB 2nd grade took a walking field trip in their Endwell suburban community last week. They did a scavenger hunt to find businesses that offer goods and services. Conti welcomed them in and showed the kids their birthstones. Best Bagels gave each class a tour and taught them how bagels are made and gave each kid a yummy bagel!
Varsity Volleyball is headed to the sub-regional game on Wednesday, 11/9. They will be playing in Owego at 5:00 against Spackenkill. Homer Brink students and staff celebrated Halloween today with costumes and parties! The variety & creativity of the costumes were incredible. Some of the games included picking up chocolate candies with a straw & making mummies from paper plates and string. M-E athletes shone brightly this past weekend. Kate Martin participated in the Tennis State Qualifier on Friday and the Varsity Cheer Team participated in the STAC Game Day Cheer Competition on Sunday. Great job Spartans!
