Congratulations to Homer Brink first grade teacher Karen Kuzel on being named the META Teacher of the Month for March!
She was nominated by the whole first grade team and this what they wrote:
"She really is an outstanding teacher.
She puts a lot of dedication into her teaching- goes above in beyond in hands on activities- for example really amazing gingerbread houses over xmas time.
Or if she assigns a writing task she makes sure to bring everyone’s writing home to give each student a message of feedback where others would just check to see that the work is done.
Shes in constant communication with her parents and creates videos of herself so they know what they missed if their student was out.
She is always sending emails to the team of activities to share for our future lessons.
You can go to her at anytime for help and shes always willing any time of day or over the weekend".
