On Thursday afternoon M-E staff and Key Club students assembled 208 red backpacks, which were equipped with stop bleeding supplies and will be placed in the occupied classrooms of M-E's four schools.
This initiative, the Trauma Bag Project, has been a collaborative effort between all the nurses, Mrs. Murat, Key Club students and the school resource officers. The Trauma Bags would be utilized in the event of a severe blood emergency.
