For more than 30 years, March has been officially designated by the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) for the observance of Music in Our Schools Month® (MIOSM®), the time of year when music education becomes the focus of schools across the nation.
We are extremely proud and thankful to have dedicated faculty, and parents who reinforce and support what we do.
At the Board of Education meeting on Thursday, March 9th, Maine-Endwell music students and instructors were honored for their musical accomplishments.
In addition, during the meeting the Maine-Endwell School Board endorsed the observance of Music in Our Schools Month as an opportunity to support the purposes and practices of music education and encourages teachers, parents, students, and all citizens to participate.
