Congratulations to META Teacher of the Month Barb Durkot, a third grade teacher at Maine Memorial. She was nominated by Christopher Cook and here is what he had to say:
"Barb has been so helpful to me in transitioning into a new school. Even with Barb working in a co-taught classroom this year she never hesitates to help me with any problem I have. Barb has been a wonderful mentor and has really made me feel accepted at Maine Memorial. Barb also helps run the morning program, creates the Halloween costumes, and leads the third-grade team in everything we do. Last but not least, without Barb, we would not have Hudson in school who has already helped so many students and staff this year".
