Our 8th grade team won 2nd place (Out of 63 teams!) at BOCES Engineering Day!

Students had to build a Rube Goldberg machine that launched a rocket 12 or more inches into a cup.
Students did not know the task ahead of time and had 2 hours to build. They were judged on machine duration, number of energy/material transfers, reliability, complexity, creativity, and their oral presentation.
Way to go Spartans!!
