Homer Brink teacher Sarah Barcak's husband, Army National Guard Veteran Matt Barcak, visited her 2nd grade class on Friday to discuss his time in the military and answer students' questions. Other 2nd grade classes were able to join in via Zoom.
Matt is a graduate of Maine-Endwell CSD. He was in Iraq from Jan. 2005 to Nov. 2005 and in Afghanistan from Jan. 2008-Dec. 2008. Thank you for your service Mr. Barcak and for coming in to speak to our students!
