On Saturday, 2/4, the All Sports Booster Club will be holding their 2022-23 Sports Hall of Fame Inductions. This will take place between the girls' JV and Varsity Basketball games. The JV game starts at 12:00 with Varsity to follow at 1:45. Please come out and congratulate our newest inductees.

On Thursday Kaety L'Amoreaux broke the school scoring record for career points, previously held by Andrea Bogart with 1,617 in 1995-1999. It was also staff appreciation night, girls' games. Congrats Kaety!!

It's time to celebrate! This morning, we celebrated our M-E Spartans' NYS Class B Football Championship!! The varsity football players walked through the halls of the HS, MS, Maine Memorial and Homer Brink. They were led by our awesome Pep Band, who sounded great. SENIORS: A rep from Josten's at school on Monday 12/5 and Tuesday 12/6 to take cap and gown orders. A cap, gown and tassel are all that are required to participate in graduation. Anything else is optional. If you haven't received a senior packet, please see Mrs. Goff in the Counseling Office to pick one up!

This morning, BOE President Melinda Spooner and Vice-President Lynn Ross visited Bridget Wilson's Fast Forward education class. They talked about their roles as board members and the ways they support the district in its mission to deliver a premier education to every student.

Mr. Lurenz's HS World Lit. Honors class worked on creative projects associated with the epic of Gilgamesh. Some of the presentations included a sculpture of Humbaba's head, an (edible) cake, diorama, Photoshop collage, paintings and board games.

This morning, Pat Dickerson, owner of Mountain Top Clambakes, visited Rachel Murat's entrepreneurship class. He talked about his food truck and answered questions about his business and the challenges that come along with it, as students start work on their food truck projects.

School Main Office is accepting gently used clothing to donate to Spartans in need. We are in need of shorts, jeans, shirts, tank tops, sweatshirts, leggings, gym shorts of all sizes to donate to our Spartan Closet. The Spartan Closet is open to all high school students who are in need of clothing. Please drop off donations to the high school main office through the month of September.
