Registration for the Summer Enrichment Program for students entering 6th grade opens tomorrow, Thursday May 11th. This fun program helps students become comfortable at the Middle School while participating in STEAM activities, physical fitness and more! See flyer for details on dates/time and how to register.
REMINDER: Deadline for school provided transportation is this Wednesday, May 10th.

The Homer Brink PTA Art Auction is happening now! The bidding is open until this Friday, April 28th at 10:00pm. All items have been donated by classes at Homer Brink, as well as students at the middle school and community members.

Maine Memorial welcomed Crystal Tripp (owner of Modern Mama’s Online Boutique) and Amber (Guy) Lopez who owns The Foundation Collective in Owego with her sister Adriel (Guy) Coleman. They talked to our 4th and 5th graders about what it’s like to own a small business. Both women started with a different career plan so it was interesting for the students to see that it’s ok to start with one career and transition to something else. The kids asked LOTS of questions and it was a wonderful experience.

The Class of 2026 has partnered with Worldwide Sports to create some fresh, new Spring Spartan gear! The sale runs from 2/27-3/12, so grab your Spring Spartan apparel for Easter gifts, Spring Break, or give your closet some upgrades for the warmer weather! We have everything from t-shirts, crew necks, sweatshirts, rain jackets, as well as shorts, joggers, socks, and some awesome new hats like bucket and trucker hats!!

Maine Memorial had our first in a series of career speakers this morning at 4th and 5th grade morning program. We had two former Maine Memorial students speak about their careers: Ben Taylor, Director of Technology at ME and former Spanish teacher and Jen Kollar, Cosmetologist and salon owner. The kids were enthusiastic and asked lots of questions! We’re looking forward to our future speakers. Any former Maine Memorial students who would be interested in presenting should contact Jim Tokos at jtokos@me.stier.org
