Fourth graders experienced some of the stops along the way for immigrants upon their arrival at Ellis Island during the classes annual Immigration Day simulation.
Students took on a unique persona and then were evaluated for their mental and physical capacity, they took a citizenship test, exchanged their money for American dollars and then made their way to America (the HB playground!).
