Dear Maine-Endwell School Community,
After twenty-two years at Maine-Endwell, Mr. Thomas Burkhardt has resigned from the district to become the Chenango Forks CSD Superintendent of Schools. The district will begin a formal search in the spring with an effective start date of July 1, 2022. In the period in-between, the district will have an interim principal in the high school.
Beginning November 8th, Mr. James Mullins will be the High School Interim Principal. Mr. Mullins has twenty- five years of administrative experience at the building and district level with Broome-Tioga BOCES.
Beginning January 3rd, Mr. David Daniels will be the High School Interim Principal and will assume the position through the end of the 2021-2022 school year. Mr. Daniels has thirty years of administrative experience with over twenty- five years as a high school principal. Mr. Daniels was the Susquehanna Valley High School Principal for twenty- two years and has spent the last two years being an Interim High School Principal in the Chenango Forks and Norwich School Districts.
The district will begin the search process in March with final recommendation made to the Board in May and a start date effective July 1, 2022.
