As many know, Remind has been an important tool in connecting our teachers, coaches, advisors, and families. Effective June 30, Remind is discontinuing its services, requiring schools across the country to transition to a new platform. The District has been working to ensure that the experience provided by Remind remains in place for our families and staff.
Effective July 1, Maine-Endwell will be moving to Rooms, a new platform built directly into the M-E CSD app. Rooms will provide the same messaging experience that families and staff are used to with Remind, with additional features to streamline communication.
You may have recently received a text message from “27806” beginning with “Hi! It’s Maine-Endwell Central School District.” This is legitimate and part of our effort to ensure that everyone is connected before the start of the new school year. As we continue to train our staff throughout the month, additional messages will likely be sent out.
How to Get Started (3 Steps):
If you already have the M-E CSD app installed:
Tap "Rooms" at the bottom of the screen and select "Continue to sign in”.
Enter your cell phone number. We've already created your account using the phone number on file with the District.
Enter the verification code sent to your phone via text or your email address.
All set! ✅ You will now receive updates from your student’s coaches, advisors, and teachers.
No cell phone number? No problem. You may use the email address on file with the district instead. If you are unsure what you provided to the district, you can call the District Office at (607) 754-1400, Option 1.
Don't Have the M-E CSD App? No problem.
You can download the M-E CSD app for iPhone here and for Android phones here.
Note: The M-ECSD app is not required. You can still receive notifications by text message or email if you prefer. These will contain links to view announcements on the Apptegy Rooms web platform.
