College Essay Guy: How to apply to college video courses (JUNIORS read below)

Part 1: How to write a personal statement for students

This is a 4 week course that will go in-depth into the process of brainstorming, outlining & writing, revising, and refining your college personal statement. Live sessions run June 7th-28th.

Each week, you will watch pre-recorded video lessons in CEG's Choose Your Own Adventure essay writing tool, complete a few exercises between sessions, and then meet live where CEG will deliver a short lesson and review sample essays as well as answer many questions.

You will learn to discover what matters to you and decide on at least 2-3 potential essay topics, create outlines to test which topic may be strongest, help you get inspired and tell your most meaningful story, avoid common topics, learn what colleges are actually looking for in a personal statement, and write your essay in less time with less tress.

Part 2 will be on how to write your college application and supplemental essays
