Homer Brink students have it made in the shade thanks to new pavilion
Homer Brink students will have protection from the sun when they play on the school’s playground. A new pavilion was just placed on the upper field at the school.
Its construction was made possible through The Community Cancer Prevention in Action Grant funded by the New York State Department of Health, Bureau of Cancer, Bureau of Cancer Prevention and Control, and made available to Maine-Endwell through the Broome County Health Department.
A goal of the cancer prevention grant is to promote sun safety policies, practices and environmental changes in the community.
Thank you to the Broome County Health Department for partnering with our district and for helping to keep our Spartans healthy.
