Facility Use Update
The district would like to clarify information regarding the use of school facilities by our community and outside groups.
When COVID 19 pandemic restrictions were originally put in place, our facilities were closed by Executive Order. As our region has progressed through the stages of reopening (we are currently in stage 4), the Executive Orders have either expired, or guidance has been issued regarding what can be opened.
Currently, during the COVID 19 pandemic, we have restricted use of all facilities until further notice.
All other use is permitted as normal as we recognize that the district cannot restrict access to our stadium, track or playgrounds. However, the district wants to be clear that use of these facilities is at the users own risk. The district will not be sanitizing or disinfecting these facilities on a regular basis until we have clear guidance on school reopening.
We thank you for your patience and understanding. We always seek to work with our community collaboratively, however the circumstances we are currently in put us in an unenviable situation.
