Construction of a central office area is proposed at Homer Brink. As the school is set up now, visitors to the main office and principal’s office are contained in a waiting area that is a main passage way for students moving from classrooms to the gym, cafeteria and music rooms. Additionally, parents must walk past the library and classrooms to reach the nurse’s office. The secure vestibule will be a one point of entry to the building and a space separate from students and classroom areas.
The Capital Project vote will take place on Sept. 10, 2019, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., at the District Office Staff Development Room (Town of Union residents), and Maine Memorial (all other residents). #beaninformedvoter
