Super readers celebrate at Morning Program
Maine Memorial super readers have done it again! On Feb. 8 the school celebrated the number of minutes students read in the second quarter of the school’s reading challenge.
Altogether, grades EK to five, students read 204,175 minutes! Add that to the first quarter count, and our Spartans logged a total of 345,628 minutes reading!
The top readers in each classroom were recognized at Morning program. The 140 students each received a book and were treated to a party.
Congratulations to Tessa Tokos who had the most minutes read among students in grades two to five, and to Mason Hudson who read the most minutes among the EK to grade one classrooms.
Fantastic job Spartans!
