Open for Business! High School celebrates opening of Visions FCU branch

Visions staff and students cutting ribbon

The Maine-Endwell branch of Visions Federal Credit Union is open for business! The school and Visions celebrated with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Oct. 29 at the office located in the High School.

Representatives from Visions were on hand for the event including CEO Ty Muse, along with our Visions student staff members.

Visions 49th branch is entirely staffed by MEHS students, along with one traditional Visions employee. Students are paid interns. They are hired following an application and interview process. The opportunity allows students to gain personal and professional development through hands-on work in the financial services industry. In addition, participating students receive scholarship awards for continued education. They will also have the chance to work in a Visions branch in the summer.

Visions extended the celebration for the entire school by providing ice cream for everyone!

Thank you Visions for partnering with our High School on such a wonderful endeavor!
