Dear Homer Brink Families,

Spring is here! The children love playing on the playground.  There are times after a lot of rain the field is off limits because with spring also come quite a bit of mud.

The 3rd quarter is ending soon and the 4th quarter is starting April 19th. We are welcoming a number of our remote students back to school on the 12th! We will begin 5 days of instruction the week of 4/26.  Fridays will be a half-day of instruction with a 12:30 dismissal. We will start walkers and pick-ups at 12:15 with buses leaving campus by 12:30. Students will eat lunch in school and bring home meals for the weekend. Please notify the office if you want to opt out of the weekend meals.

The on-line registration is open for all our incoming kindergarten students. Please save the date for Primary Sequence Orientation that will be held in the High School Auditorium. Depending on the number of incoming kindergarten students, we may have 2 nights of orientation April 27th and 28th if our numbers require us to when we take social distancing into consideration.

State assessments are scheduled for April 20th (3rd and 5th gr.) and April 21st (4th gr.) for the ELA assessment and May 4th (3rd and 5th) and May 5th (4th) for the math assessment.  We will only be administering Day 1 for grades 3-5 which will be the multiple choice session for both exams.

Check the District web site on a regular basis as Covid guidelines are updated as the district receives updates. Also, please continue to follow the district guidelines if your child exhibits any of the Covid symptoms.

Thank you for your continuing support throughout these challenging times.
