The following is the letter sent to families for the reopening of school September 2020.

Dear Families of Maine Endwell Central School District,
We want to share our plan for meals at all school locations and grade levels. Our goal for Maine Endwell Central School District students is to ensure that all students have access to breakfast and lunch in a safe environment. In order to achieve our goal, we have made the following plans in conjunction with our district administration and local health authorities effective the first day of school.

Menus:
The menus for all meals will be available on the Maine Endwell Central School District website, Rock on Café website, and on the My School Menus app.
*Menus are subject to change

Free and Reduced applications:
We strongly encourage you to fill out an application soon so there is no interruption in meals in 2021.

Serving of Meals:
Upon arrival at school, Homer Brink and Maine Memorial students wishing to eat a breakfast will receive their breakfast in the classroom. Middle School & High School students will go through the serving line, grab a breakfast, and then continue to a designated seating area where they will be distanced 6 feet apart.
For lunch, students attending all schools will go through the serving line and go to a designated seating area where they are distanced 6 feet apart.

Serving line safety, “MASKS MUST BE WORN WHILE IN THE SERVING LINE”:
Serving lines will be completely sanitized between each group of students. Students will not be permitted to use tongs, spoons, scoop, etc. to serve themselves. Cafeterias will either be serving the students each item or pre-portioning items into individual cups. There will be hand sanitizer at the beginning of each line.

PIN PADS
PIN pads will not be used until further notice.

PLEASE NOTE:

**Cash will be accepted at the registers for snacks but staff will not be able to give any cash back to students or staff.  Any left-over money will be added to the student’s account and will be available the next time they purchase an item.
