This document provides updated guidance on releasing individuals from quarantine as a result of an exposure to COVID-19, including general community members, health care personnel, and travelers.

Holiday Travel Information

With the upcoming holiday season, students and staff may be planning to travel out of state. If you are planning to travel out of state, you should be aware of the recent changes in testing and quarantining in New York and the impact this decision may have.
    If you are traveling to any non-contiguous state for more than twenty-four hours, please be aware that three days prior to returning to New York you must be tested for COVID-19.
    Upon your return to New York you will be quarantined and on the fourth day of quarantine you must be tested for COVID-19 again.
    You cannot return to school/work unless both tests are negative.
    If either test is positive you will be quarantined for fourteen (14) days.
Please keep the foregoing in mind as you make travel plans during the course of the school year and please stay safe.
