District Families: Take our 2016-17 Maine-Endwell Climate Survey
What do you think about the professional and educational climate in the Maine-Endwell School District? We want to know!
The district invites all families with students currently enrolled in our schools to take our 2016-17 Climate Survey.
The purpose of the survey is to gauge our stakeholders level of satisfaction with the district in these five areas:
Student Social/Emotional/Developmental Health
Key data collected through the survey will be used to guide the Maine-Endwell Strategic Planning Committee in making future decisions about the district. The goal is to collect responses from 75% of our families, or 2,000 surveys.
Through Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES, Maine-Endwell has contracted with the consultant group PLC Associates to create the survey, collect the data and interpret it for the district. Once the information has been shared with district administration and the Strategic Planning Committee, it will be shared with our stakeholders on our website, and during a “data cafe,” an evening event that will allow attendees to hear about, and reflect on the data collected.
Those who take the survey will remain anonymous. The family survey consists of a group of five-point rating scale questions and three commentary questions. It takes about 15 minutes to complete.
The deadline to submit the survey is May 5.
The link for the family survey is below. Please note that you will need the password included in the invitation letter sent to you by Superintendent Jason Van Fossen in order to begin the survey.
If you have any questions about the Climate Survey, please contact Mr. Van Fossen at (607) 754-1400 ext. 2311 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please help us reach our goal of 2,000 completed surveys!
