We want to hear from you! Take the 2018 family Climate Survey
What do you think about the professional and educational climate in the Maine-Endwell School District? We want to know!

The district invites all families with students currently enrolled in our schools, staff, and students (grades three  to 12), to take our 2018-19 Climate Survey. The survey will be available from Sept. 12 through Oct. 9.

The survey password is: Family2018

This is the second year the survey will be available to our stakeholders, in an effort to gauge the level of satisfaction with the district in these five areas: Leadership, Curriculum, Teacher Practices, Student Social/Emotional/Developmental Health, and Family Engagement. Through this annual survey, the district hopes to collect key data that will be used to guide the Maine-Endwell Strategic Planning Committee in making future decisions about the district.

Through Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES, Maine-Endwell has contracted with the consultant group PLC Associates to create the survey, collect the data and interpret it for the district.

Those who take the survey will remain anonymous. Each survey is tailored appropriately for each survey group. The family survey consists of a group of five-point rating scale questions and three commentary questions, and takes about 15 minutes to complete. Staff and students will complete their survey during the work/school day. Families will also have the opportunity to take the survey at each school’s open house.

If you have any questions about the Climate Survey, please contact Mr. Jason R. Van Fossen, Superintendent of Schools, at (607) 754-1400 extension 2311 or via email at jvanfossen@me.stier.org.
