MS teacher Julie Erb is the November META Liberty Mutual Teacher of the Month
Middle School Special Education Teacher Julie Erb is a kind, compassionate teacher. She demonstrates every day how much she cares about the students in her 8:1:1 class. While working to help her students to learn, she also makes that learning fun. It’s for that reason, and more, that Mrs. Erb is the META Liberty Mutual Teacher of the Month for November.

“Julie is very patient with everyone,” said MS Teaching Assistant Rita McGuire, who nominated Mrs. Erb for the honor. “Julie will help any student in the school.”

Mrs. Erb also takes care of her students after the school day ends, by volunteering as a coach for the district’s Special Olympics teams.

Each month Liberty Mutual honors excellence in teaching within our district with the Teacher of the Month award. The award, sponsored by the Maine-Endwell Teachers Association, is given to a staff member who demonstrates the following leadership qualities: professionalism and excellence in and out of the classroom; commitment to the well-being of students; high ethical standards; and civic and charitable stewardship. Award winners will be nominated by their peers.

Congratulations Mrs. Erb!
