February Spartan Spotlight: Casey Adrian
 Our Spartans are multi-talented, caring members of their community.

Each month the “Spartan Spotlight” will shine on a student who has done something special beyond the walls of his or her school. Whether it be sharing their talents with others, excelling at a non-school related sport, participating in a hobby, or volunteering their time to help out, we want to let everyone know how our Spartans shine.

AGE: 18

GRADE/SCHOOL: Senior, High School

SPOTLIGHT MOMENT: Writing and publishing his first novel, “Broken Euphoria”

Casey wrote and self-published his first novel, “Broken Euphoria,” on Amazon in 2015 when he was just 15 years old. Casey said that writing is so much a part of who he is, that penning a novel was something he was meant to do. He is currently working on his second novel, which he plans to publish through the traditional literary process. 


Activities/Hobbies: Active in HS government as Student Council president, writing, watching Netflix 

In the Community: Volunteers as a grant writer for the non-profit organization, Humans for Education

Favorite Subject: English

Least Favorite Subject: Anything with numbers

Future Career: Book editor and ultimately becoming a full-time author
