Girls with moving up certificates. Kindergarten celebrates moving on to first grade
Maine Memorial’s kindergarten students celebrated the end of the school year with a Jubilation Ceremony on June 15.  
Students looking at Revolutionary War artifacts Revolutionary War lesson comes to fourth graders
The Revolutionary War came to life for Maine Memorial fourth graders right in their classrooms on May 30. George Cummings, a local Revolutionary War enthusiast, visited the students, bringing along artifacts, and stories about that important turning point in our country’s history.

Maine Memorial kindergarten students welcomed a special visitor to their school on May 22, Spotty the calf. The newborn, just two days old, was part of an AG in the Classroom lesson on farming.

People of all ages feel stress, including our youngest Spartans. Recently, Maine Memorial students learned some techniques for coping with stress and frustration by practicing yoga.

“Throw kindness like confetti!” On May 7 Maine Memorial students and staff focused on the term “kindness” for their spring Spartan Way Day.  
Girls building robot Fourth and fifth graders become young engineers
Maine Memorial fourth and fifth graders swapped being students for a chance to be young engineers when a team of adult engineers from Lockheed Martin led a STEM lesson at their school.
