Homer Brink fifth graders are on their way to Middle School! On June 21, the school’s 106 members of the Class of 2024 participated in a moving up ceremony surrounded by their family members and friends.

Homer Brink fourth graders packed their bags, boarded a boat and then a train, and headed out on a long journey to the United States by way of Ellis Island, all without leaving their school! It was all part of Immigration Simulation Day.

June 9 was a picture perfect, sunny day for Homer Brink field days! Students gathered on the school’s upper field for games and the chance to pitch a slam dunk and sink Principal Bill Dundon in a tank of chilly water.
