Homecoming 2017!
Spartan Spirit is alive and well in Spartan Country. Community members of all ages celebrated Homecoming 2017.
Students and staff got into the spirit of homecoming when they celebrated Spirit Week 2017. Each school had a different theme for each day leading up to Homecoming, Sept. 30. Maine-Endwell Schools were draped in Spartan Blue and Gold on the last day of Spirit Week.
Community members of all ages came out to celebrate Homecoming 2017 on Saturday. The day began with a parade through the streets of Endwell. The wind and cool temperatures didn’t stop community members from walking in the parade and lining the parade route. The parade featured the district’s pep band, clubs, organizations and youth sports teams from Maine and Endwell, class and school floats and the homecoming court.

Then Spartan fans filled the stands for the homecoming football game vs. Windsor. During halftime, senior Gina Goldstone was crowned Homecoming Queen. The 2017 Spartan, Bradley Cook, was named at the High School pep rally on Friday. Other members of the homecoming court were, Halie Carden, Hannah King, Maggie Milano, Alex Thompson, Casey Adrian, Julian Layton, Dean Plaskon, and Jarred Woodward. The pep band performed, and the team took home a big 54-28 win.
